A unique personal project that showcased new works by the artist.

«Boris Kocheishvili. Me and Them» was the first solo exhibition of the artist at the State Tretyakov Gallery. The exhibition depicted paintings, graphics and bas‐reliefs dating back to 1960 and up to the latest pieces. The project included Kocheishvili’s poetry and a unique multimedia study which presented the works in a larger historical and social context.

On October 27, 2021, the K.S. Stanislavsky House Museum opened the exhibition "Me and Them. Three Sisters", the first part of the two-part project "Me and Them". The exhibition explored the deep connection between art and theater. For half a century, Boris Kocheishvili has been painting the "Three Sisters", placing them in paradisiacal landscapes, dark forests, or on a stage flooded with white light. His three female figures have formed a stable composition, merging with Russian culture and the canonical image of the Trinity while remaining a strikingly modern and distinctive work of contemporary art.

At the exhibition at the Tbilisi MOMA, the audience could see graphics, paintings, and sculptural reliefs by Boris Kocheishvili with elements of video art, as well as read his poems that became a part of the project.
